Pumpkin Applesauce




Pumpkin Applesauce

4 golden delicious apples, cored, peeled, and chopped
1 cup water
1 lemon, juiced
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 cup sugar
1 cinnamon stick


In a large sauce pot, combine all of the ingredients. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer. Cook for 15 minutes, or until the desired consistency. 

Remove from the heat and mash with a potato masher or a fork.

Store in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.

Yields 2 to 3 pints.
